Review of For One More Day

I do not know if you guys have ever stopped at a moment during which you begin assessing your deeds. But, I do that A lot especially when I am about to sleep, almost every single night, I wonder whether or not I will have the courage and strength to apologize for every soul that I have hurt; for every anger that I could not control. Whether or not I will be there tell my mom and dad how much I love them and appreciate their sacrifices to avail the life that I am having.

This lovely novel tells us about a boy named Charles who had to choose between his parent. On one hand, like many of our mothers, Chick's mom worked hard to see her son study in a university. He indeed did get into a university, but now that he is on his own, he decided to get to know his father, who had divorced his mother. On the other hand, his dad was a big fan of baseball and wanted his son to be a successful player. Chick chose to follow his dad not knowing what awaits him ahead. He succeeded in reaching the highest positions "I made it to the end of the baseball rainbow: the World Series"

One day Chick, his wife, and daughter were invited to attend his mother's birthday party at her house. After hours of arriving and before the party started, Chick received a call from his dad telling him to urgently come as they needed him to replace a player. He went after lying to his wife and more importantly his mom.

After finishing, Charles turned his phone on to be surprised by the number of calls from his wife. He then called her and received the most shocking sorrowful news that his mom has died. That was the turning point of Chick's life as every aspect of his life turned upside down so that he decided to follow his own mother. That is when he decided to drive to his childhood town and jump from a mountain. While heading, he made a horrendous accident with a massive truck. Afterward, he endured something called Near Death experience in which he saw how much his mom sacrificed to enroll her only boy into the university.

What I have learned from this lovely novel are the following things:
1- Love your parent no matter what
2- To never postpone admitting that I am wrong
3-To seek God's mercy no matter what

Anne Frank's Diary

It is hard to believe that more than 75 years have passed since Anne Frank   met her tragic death in the concentration camp in Auschwitz. It was the diehard belief of the   German Nazi regime that all Jews in Europe, in fact across   the world should be wiped off the face of the earth. Ironically, Otto Frank,   Anne’s father, decided to emigrate from  Germany  to Holland just to   escape such a fate. Well, the Nazis swept across Western Europe in no   time, and the Netherlands like Belgium and France, were quickly conquered   by the Germans, and the annihilation program kicked into gear. As in   Germany, Jews in conquered territories and countries were subjected to   harsh and illogical regulations. For   instance, Dutch Jews were forbidden to   sit in their own gardens after 8 pm. For two years, the Franks and some of their friends  decided to   hide  in the annex in  Otto’s spice factory . It was ther...

Review of Education

Do we really possess freedom? Or are we merely guided unknowingly? I think that we all are influenced by this mean or another as we are compartments of bigger entities, such as families, societies, religions, and countries. These things affect our way of thinking and how we judge people from different backgrounds. For instance, you may be raised liberal and so you view every woman wearing a scarf as backward. This intriguing book tells us the story of bravery, courage, and determination; it is the story of Tara Westover who suffered immensely to accomplish her aim of being educated. Well, you may say why it is special many other characters had faced hardships to get sophisticated, but this lady had endured even more as she was a Mormon. Her family in general wanted her to be a devout Mormon girl which means no education and no recognition by the government of the USA. Her dad was a captive of his own mind; he interpreted the Holy Bible by his own perceptive. For example, if his ow...
